Soil and Water Management Module Details

Introduction to Drainage Water Management

Drainage Water Management (DWM) is the process of managing the timing and the amount of water discharging from agricultural drainage systems. A water level control structure is installed in the tile line and allows for management of the tile outlet elevation. Introduction to Drainage Water Management provides the CCA an overview of what drainage water management is and how it works. It will expose CCAs to the conservation and crop production benefits of DWM and will provide the CCA with resources for learning more about DWM. This module should take about 60 minutes to complete, plus time for the quiz.
